We now live in a world of e-mails, voice mails and text messages yet, we have become poor listeners and communicators. We hear, but we really aren't listening to what is being said.

This highly interactive presentation is designed to efficiently train participants in effective ways to communicate and to listen so that they truly understand what they are hearing to avoid costly mistakes, misunderstandings and conflict. The children's' game "telephone" presents miscommunication as an amusing experience, but in organizations it can mean the difference between profitability and loss.

Communication involves creating meaning, motivating, teaching, and expressing ideas. This training workshop provides practical insights about inter-personal communication issues so that staff and managers can collaborate, negotiate and manage change.

Participants will engage in analysis of communication needs for meeting individual and organizational goals and objectives. Special emphasis is placed on understanding communication and the role it plays in individual and organizational well being.
